Virtual Farming On Facebook
24 May, 2009 – 5:52 pmI did not log in to my Facebook account for almost a week except to play Pet Society and Restaurant City and guess what I was greeted with! Requests from friends to add new farming game applications called Barn Buddy, Farm Town and Fantasy Farm. I wonder if there are other similar farming games on Facebook!

Of course I added the game applications but gosh, with three almost similar games, could I even play them? Right now, I have no time for commitment games, games that require me to log in daily to earn a bonus or something.

I am already playing Pet Society and Restaurant City which coincidentally, today, my pet on Pet Society bagged the last of the trophies, which is the gold Eco trophy. Phew… after less than three months playing the game daily, I finally managed to hit my target.

Today, in Restaurant City, I managed to hit level 10 for one dish after playing for less than two months. I could have hit it sooner if not for getting about 50% of the daily food quiz right only. Now, with the market outside my restaurant, things should be a little easier. Granted, ingredients are scarce and pricy but if the vendor offers me what I need, I surely will buy.
With Pet Society taking about 1.5 hours of my time daily and Restaurant City taking just a little time but plenty of computer system resources, do I even have any free time to play Barn Buddy, Farm Town or Fantasy Farm on Facebook? I don’t dare to start!
