TWO Million Gourmet Points [Restaurant City On Facebook]
14 August, 2009 – 10:35 pmYes, I’m nuts; I’m obsessive. Two million gourmet points just proves what a no-lifer I am with nothing better to do than to play Restaurant City! But you know I’m joking, don’t you?
I hit two million gourmet points yesterday and you know what? The journey from one million to two million gourmet points didn’t seem like such a slow and painful journey compared to going from zero to a million gourmet points. In fact, I hardly noticed it until the last lap towards two million although it took me nearly a month.

Actually, I haven’t played much of the game in the past few weeks, mainly because it was too difficult to load the game. After a few tries, I would give up, unlike when I first started; I would continuously try loading it.
I experience many Shockwave flash errors playing Restaurant City which causes my browser to crash, though Firefox is more stable to play on. Friends tell me that the game slows their computer and takes up too much virtual memory, which I experience as well, making it difficult to run the game in the background and work on the computer at the same time. But hey, it’s just a game ion beta. We can choose to play or not to play it, right?
Even at two million gourmet points, I have only managed to bag fourteen out of thirty awards. My main focus right now is to level up twenty dishes. Right now, I am at sixteen with four more to go. Once I get this, I will only concentrate on the other awards. Those would be a breeze and probably not as costly. HAHAHA!
