Social City – The Latest Facebook Game Craze
20 March, 2010 – 12:30 pmIt is totally crazy, the number of “friends” on my Facebook contact list playing Social City over night! Suddenly, I get a deluge of request to play the game, to receive free gifts and reciprocate! It looks like all the time I spend on Facebook is spent clearing my requests!
Social City is the latest game by Playdom, the game developers of Sorority Life, which I used to play but have since lost interest, Lil Farm Life, Tiki Farm, Tiki Resort, Mobsters and Mobsters 2. OK, looks like the only Playdom game that I have played so far is Sorority Life, and now, it’s Social City!
The concept of the game is pretty simple, actually. The player is the mayor of the city and it is up to him or her how to city is planned and built. Wow, didn’t know that there are so many people who dream of running a city. Hehe.
And of yeah, it’s a flash game so sometimes, there will be loading issues for me that sometimes kill the joy of playing and I would rather just X the browser. Anyway, let’s see how long Social City can hold my attention.
