Rosy Business / Rogue Merchant [TVB Drama]

I actually meant to write this post sooner but I forgot. Can you believe that? Blame it on serious time wasters like Pet Society and Restaurant City. Hey, I actually do play them and not indulge in any Pet Society hacks or Restaurant City tricks, OK?

Anyway, Rosy Business, also known as Rogue Merchant, has replaced The King of Snooker this week. No, I did not watch The King of Snooker because it stars Adam Cheng. I guess I have an overdose of him from watching his 1980s Taiwanese dramas. Also, a friend told me that The King of Snooker had too much computer-generated imagery (CGI) which made the serial not as enjoyable because it seemed fake.

Well, I am not sure if I would watch Rosy Business too. It’s a costume drama and I try to stay away from that! I prefer modern settings, actually. However, this one stars Sheren Tang who doesn’t look a day older than when I first watched her TVB serials back in the 1980s! Besides, this one stars Ron Ng! I think I like him after watching E.U. He has style but he kinda look tired and old here.

I read the synopsis of Rosy Business and it seems like an interesting TVB drama, although with 25 episodes, it’s a tad long, though with all the olden day corporate drama, one needs extra episodes to fit the entire storyline.

To watch or not to watch? I haven’t watched any drama for the longest time now. Perhaps I shall see what’s replacing Man In Charge next week, then decide. So many games and dramas, so little time!
