Please Press A
11 July, 2008 – 11:26 amI was at the evening post office a couple of days ago and I stood at the door where there’s this machine that dispenses number, which we have to take to queue up to get served.
I tell you, as I stood there, about 90% of customers came in and when they read that they have to press button A, they pressed on the cardboard with the red arrow instead.
Even though some people did not actually press on the cardboard, their finger hovered over it for a spit second. And the really amusing ones would press the cardboard, see that there was no response from the machine and pressed the cardboard a second time, harder.
I don’t know why they had to stick a cardboard with an arrow. It just confuses people but it was funny.
