Planting Spices & Herbs In Restaurant City [Facebook Game]
30 August, 2009 – 8:36 pmAll my friends who play Restaurant City tell me it’s rather weird that we can now farm in Restaurant City. Yes, in view o f the popularity of virtual farming on Facebook, Playfish decided to incorporate virtual farming in Restaurant City too, even though they have their own virtual farming game called Country Story. Playfish claims it’s better than Farmville but I think ANY virtual farming game on Facebook should be better than Farmville. Yes, that’s how much I DON’T like it. Tee hee!
I don’t think it’s particularly weird to be able to farm outside a restaurant but I think that Playfish developers should have placed our plots of land BEHIND our restaurants and not beside. This is, after all, a street of restaurants so how could we have empty plots of land for farming next to our restaurants?

I have already planted on two plots of land, even though I have already unlocked the how all plots, but I don’t really know what I am planting. I have no option to choose but I know that my seeds, which cost 2000 coins would be either species or herbs. I could already see some of the new ingredients in our menu.
Besides introducing virtual farming, Playfish also rolled out restaurant expansions. Now, maximum level to achieve in Restaurant City is Level 32, not Level 27 anymore. Well, with more than two million gourmet points, I have unlocked everything. I am waiting for Playfish to turn our restaurants into double storey buildings, sort of like our pet houses in Pet Society.
