OMG! Laughing Died, And For What? [TVB Drama E.U.]
19 March, 2009 – 11:18 amIf you follow TVB drama, Emergency Unit [E.U.], in episode 22, Laughing was shot. Who killed him? Of course I know but I’m not telling.

You know, although E.U. has a pretty exciting theme, I think the plot is too loose. How could Laughing be an undercover cop for eight years and only managed to break the triad after such a long time? Is the police force that lousy?
And then after breaking it, he was reassigned to start his ninth year to continue searching for the new drug manufacturing plant and the first time he was shown the place, the police had to follow. How can? They should allow Laughing to go alone, then only leak the info to the police, right?
And how could Pak Q fire to kill when he should fire to disarm first? Seriously, there are so many places to shoot, he had to aim for the heart, killing on his wedding day too! Gross!
Laughing died, and I think it was too great a sacrifice. How come one department doesn’t know that another department has sent in a mole? Dumb, really dumb.

Hi,
Happen to find this blog talking about Laughing so I popped by!
Well, seriously you cant blame Pak Q. It was a scenario where a triad boss was about to kill his best friend (thinking Mun’s undercover identity was revealed). For undercover assignments, only the direct boss knows about it. It’s confidential so as to protect the identity of the mole.
As for laughing, police needs to follow him as they need to catch Xiao Ge red-handed, in the factory. The boss usually doesn’t visit it, well Xiao Ge didn’t even know where it was initially. So Laughing had to wait for the lapse in operation to strike them.
Well, it’s expected that a role (laughing) that sets in the public’s heart will be taken DOWN. With this, they can capitalise on the overwhelming response. What to do………
Maybe they will come up with a Laughing’s prequel or something! It’s all marketing Gimmick!

Hi Wilson,
Thanks for commenting!
Did you watch the final minute(s) of the last episode of TVB’s version of E.U.? Don’t know what they mean showing Laughing, except to capitalize on his popularity.
