Mafia Wars: It’s On In San Juan
4 September, 2010 – 12:08 pmZynga launched “It’s On In San Juan” in Mafia Wars on Facebook, which is like “Beat the Feds“. I tell you, I don’t know if I should be fed up with the game or be excited about it.
I found out that some players do not get to fight in San Juan yet and that Zynga is rolling that out in stages so as not to overload the server and that every player will have a smooth fighting experience and have enough time to complete the fights and not be bogged by technical glitches.

I can certainly this move but what irks me is that after fighting in San Juan and reaching Gold Mastery after defeating Senor Carazco, I logged in to Mafia Wars looking forward to continue with the next fight when I was welcomed with this message:
Due to the overwhelming popularity of the San Juan event, we are in the process of slowly rolling out the event to avoid any game performance issues. We will make sure that everyone has more than enough time to complete the fight. Thank you again for your patience.
I was like, wtf? If you want to do so, then don’t let me start San Juan first. Why let me in only to pull it? I left the game since I didn’t have enough Stamina yet and when I logged back in to Mafia Wars this morning, everything is in order again. I even managed to defeat General Vargas to achieve Gold Mastery though it took me more than an hour to do so and more than 1500 stamina points even though I had three Mafia friends who helped me to inflict some damage.
