Mafia Wars Halloween Loot Event
30 October, 2009 – 8:33 pmWith so many games to play on Facebook, I really am unable to cope but Mafia Wars remains as one of the games that I log in to play frequently throughout the day. Besides being interesting enough to capture my attention more than a couple of months, Mafia Wars is really easy to log in to and doesn’t overwhelm the virtual memory of my computer, unlike Restaurant City, Pet Society and FarmVille.
This Halloween, which is tomorrow, Mafia Wars is celebrating it by dropping eight special Halloween loot starting today for three days. The funny thing is that all eight items are inspired by other Zynga games like FarmVille, Rollercoaster Kingdom and Zynga Poker.
The Halloween loot items that are being dropped are as follows, with the corresponding game that inspired it:
Kraken - Pirates
YoZombie - YoVille
Laser Squirrel - Mafia Wars
Fake Vampire - Vampire Wars
Lonely Plague Cow - FarmVille
Monkey Brain Stew – Café World
Bloody Poker Chips - Zynga Poker
Dead End - Rollercoaster Kingdom
I hope I got this list right since I don’t play ALL Zynga games. But you can bet, I am going crazy trying to collect all eight of these loot items before the loot drop stops. But unlike the Hard Labor Loot Event, I will not be “wasting” my Godfather points in buying Stamina just to try to get the eighth item, which I failed even after spending FORTY Godfather points.
By the way, do those Facebook pages which promise free Godfather points work? It takes me a lifetime to collect my Godfather points yet I see people spending so many Godfather points buying limited edition loot.
