Mafia Wars [Facebook Game] Bangkok Episode 6 Locked
3 April, 2010 – 1:18 pmI have completed playing Mafia Wars Bangkok, finishing four mastery levels of Episode 5A (Oyabun). Episode 5B is locked for me since I have completed Oyabun which is expected as you can see from my screenshot.
I then went on a 9-day vacation, came back to Mafia Wars and Episode 6 is still not released for me. I know that some of my Facebook Mafia Wars family have already progressed very far ahead on Episode 6 and I think it’s kind of unfair that some accounts have Episode 6 Bangkok which some, like mine and another of my friend’s which I sometimes help to level up, still do not have it.
So right now, I am sitting on a lot of Energy which I use to help Mafia families with their search for Mafia Wars Easter Eggs and I know that with my luck, Episode 6 will open up for me when I have drained my Energy. Darn it!
I can’t wait for Episode 6 to come so that I could complete it. If I had known earlier that there will be an Episode 6 soon, I wouldn’t have wasted all my Thai Baht! Now, I just hope that when Episode 6 Bangkok is open for me, I will still have enough cash to unlock the game.

Same here – really annoying!!!! Zynga told me that they will let me know when they sort it, but i have read that they can just reset the dragon head episode to lvl 1 again (which isn’t a problem as i should be on lvl 1 and not 4 anyway)

I am having the same type of problem with episode 5A not proceeding to 5B. It is very frustrating.

Just noticed that I have got a “Rate your recent experience with Zynga Customer Support?” when they have not sorted the issue yet. Twice they have sent this email without sorting the problem (two seperate issues).

I gave the lowest rankings for both and comments were that the person handling it did nothing and the issue was not resolved. And yes it is ridiculous. I have replied to the last message they sent me and asked them AGAIN to reset episode 5b, as i read that this is easy to do.

The way I understand the game is that we can either complete Episode 5A OR 5B and then proceed to Episode 6.
Some players already have Episode 6 added to their game but obviously you and I are left out.

I used to think that but there is no episode 6, for is it is 5b. I have seen my cousin’s game and he has done both 5a and 5b. I do remember getting the achievement for completing 5a or 5b before i even started it, and am wondering if that has something to do with my problem.

Oh I see. I don’t know what’s the problem either but it’s just frustrating that I can’t proceed with it. I’m keeping my energy pack in case the game opens up for me again.

My issue has still not been resolved. I have heard that it is easy for you just to reset episode 5b only…i have only completed the first 3 jobs on lvl 1 so it would not be a big loss for me and i would be able to carry on. please.
Their response:
I made some changes to your Account and now you should be able to keep advancing in Bangkok, please let me know if you find any inconveniences with this fix or if you encounter any other issues with the game and I will be more than happy to assist you.
