It’s Time To Lose That Lazy Bone
3 February, 2009 – 2:47 pmWell, the holidays are over. They HAVE to be. It’s time to lose that lazy bone of mine and start going back to the grind. Hehehe….. I have been working at the minimum for the past year. In January, 2009, I only worked 20 days and that is a terrible record of mine. I used to work 31 days in 30 day months. Yes, that was when I was a workaholic before I grew that lazy bone.
Moving forward, I have compiled a list of Dos and Don’ts. No, these are not resolutions because I never hold true to them. These are, let’s just say, reminders. The economy is bad and it will only get worse. It will not be easy to ‘cari makan’ (earn a living). Fixed deposit rates have been cut too deeply to still be able to depend on comfortably.
Do:
1. Blog more
2. Blog housekeeping
3. Streamline my blogs to a more realistic figure
4. Network more & make more friends
5. Be happy
Don’t:
1. Oversleep
2. Watch too many dramas concurrently. One episode a day is sufficient!
3. Spend too much time on Facebook
4. Play online or mobile games
5. Waste too much time window shopping
Now that I have listed these out, they don’t seem too difficult to achieve. I just need to find a balance and divide my 25-hour day better.
