I’m Also Watching A Journey Called Life [TVB Drama]
26 February, 2009 – 12:33 pmThose who know me know that I watch multiple dramas concurrently. Sometimes even I mix up the plot and characters and it could be tough switching from watching TVB Cantonese dramas to Korean dramas in Korean. Hahaha! Am I weird or am I weird?
Besides watching E.U. right now, I am also watching A Journey Called Life. This is a TVB drama from last year which stars Linda Chung. Although some people dislike Linda and I am not particularly a fan of hers, I think A Journey Called Life has plenty of opportunities for her to showcase her talent. Yes, she has talent and isn’t just a pretty face. I think that as long as she doesn’t have many crying scenes, she would do well despite her “chicken voice”.
A Journey Called Life has only 20 episodes and it deals with various real life issues that most of us go through at different points of life, from teenagers, to single adults, married adults and elderly people. These issues are very real not only faced by people in Hong Kong.
I wouldn’t say that this is a sad drama and neither could I categorize it as romance or comedy. It certainly has many of these elements at different parts of the storyline. Like life, it has its ups and downs and these are portrayed very well in the drama.
I am up to episode 6 already and am enjoying it.
