Hitting Level 100 In Mafia Wars

24 July, 2009 – 8:49 pm

I’m crazy. I KNOW! After a month of intensely playing of Mafia Wars on Facebook, I finally hit level 100 and caught up with many of my friends who played Mafia Wars way before me. They were shocked to see how I leveled up, just as they were shocked at my pace in playing Pet Society.

Actually, I have been so busy playing Mafia Wars on Facebook that I didn’t have as much time to play Pet Society anymore except to collect some Pet Society gold coins daily. I don’t care about Pet Society paw points anymore even though I still have the 500 plants trophy and Room 10 to achieve.

Anyway, I am at level 104 right now, a Consigliere, and still concentrating on jobs in New Work. I wish I have more energy, and have joined the group that is petitioning to Zynga to give us energy packs faster than the current 23 hours. That’s such a long time to wait for energy packs!

I don’t know how long more Mafia Wars will have my attention. Right now, I continue to play other Facebook games but none has been able to grab my attention away from Mafia Wars. Besides trying to build my stats, I am also trying, though not hard enough, to grow my Mafia family.

Also, because I started the game earlier than a couple of friends, I am able to help them vault their collections and send weapons, armor & vehicles to them that I have spare. One thing that I do not like about Mafia Wars is the glitch. I never get the free gift page anymore and I get some of my gifts lost in their server! Urghhh

My next target in Mafia Wars would probably be level 200, though at this point, that seems like such a long journey! I see top Mafia Players at level one thousand and beyond. That’s pretty terrifying the time these players spend on the game!

  2. I’m at level 98 on mafia wars. I’m getting kind of tired of playing, but I can’t stop! I would never get to level 1000 because I’m not that obsessive…

  3. Hi Daniel,

I have to agree that it’s kind of tiring and monotonous by Zynga keeps adding new features that make us wanna keep playing. Soon, we will have two more new cities. I hope you took advantage of Big Apple week to complete jobs in New York.
