Barely a week after the Penang nurse sex scandal hit the media, though her sex photos have already been circulating on the web since late last year, yesterday, we have been hit by nude photos of Elizabeth Wong, State Assemblywoman for Bukit Lanjan, Selangor and the current Executive Councillor for Tourism, Environment and Consumer Affairs for the state of Selangor.

Elizabeth Wong ADUN Selangor not nude

According to reports, these nude photos of Elizabeth Wong which have been circulating via MMS these past couple of days, were shot by a spurned ex-boyfriend while Elizabeth Wong was sleeping at home. It seems that she loves sleeping in the nude so there would be plenty of opportunity for someone close to shoot photos of her in the nude. I don’t know how accurate this is but apparently, that ex-boyfriend is a Malay who has since fled to Indonesia, probably a whole lot richer.

Well, the thing is, once photos of this nature have been released into the World Wide Web, there’s nothing one could do to stop it from spreading far and wide. I have no idea how bad these nude Elizabeth Wong photos are, whether they are just of her sleeping or maybe there are more intimate shots of her in compromising positions.

What I do know is that no matter how bad it is right now for her, there will be another case of leaked nude photo or sex scandal or worse, homemade sex video to overshadow her. Didn’t that happen to Chu Mei Feng, Tammy NYP and just last week, Penang nurse Han Bee Yin?

If women think that they could trust their boyfriends, let me just say that even if he was husband, doesn’t mean that he could be trusted. Take a look at those shots contributed by men to voyeur sites. Most of them are of women doing various things around the house who had their photos taken by their husbands unknowingly.

So what else is new? Voters are always being played by politicians who forget that voters were the ones who elected them as representatives of the people and we could bring them down just as well.

While idealistic people would think that having Pakatan Rakyat for Bangsa Malaysia would mark the beginning of a change, it was not to be here in Perak because of self-interests. Politicians are human beings too and whatever calculated move they make, they think of their own benefits FIRST and foremost, from the top to the bottom rung of politicians. The dirtier one is, the better one could survive politically.

I am not surprised that Perak Pakatan Rakyat government collapsed like it did because it has always been on shaky ground from day one. For one, the MB was only appointed as the MB because of state constitution and not by popular vote.

Secondly, quite a handful of elected representatives became power crazy and ruled the State like it was their grandfather’s. Just look at how they fought for State positions, Exco and what not. Look how they fought for a share of the State pie.

I am not surprised like I am not surprised that the Federal Government shuts off Federal aid to states that fell to the “opposition”. This was a consequence that the Rakyat was willing to take, only to give new people a chance to rule. In fact, tin revenue from Perak was used to build Kuala Lumpur, so what has changed?

Change? Perak cannot. It’s back to square one after an interval of ten months.

BeiBei, JingJing, HuanHuan, YingYing or NiNi?

Children around the world are just going crazy over these five Chinese kids, I tell you. Of course, it helps that they are so cute, in their native Chinese animal costumes and the Olympic flame, the big brother, HuanHuan.

If you do not know what each child mascot represents, here you go:

BeiBei is a Fish, JingJing is Panda, YingYing is a Tibetan Antelope and NiNi is a Swallow. Like I mentioned, HuanHuan in the middle is the Olympic Flame. And the cute thing is that they are all in Olympic colors!

Although I am not a kid, I still find these mascots so cute. I have been following the Olympics for many years and I think that this time, the mascots are most memorable. Their names collectively mean “Bei Jing Huan Ying Ni” or “Beijing Welcomes You”! The host for the next Olympic Games will have a tough time topping this!

My personal favorite among these five Olympic mascots would be HuanHuan the Olympic Flame. Perhaps it is because red is the most striking color. JingJing the panda bear is cute too and could be easily relatable to all things Chinese. It really is so difficult to choose ONE favorite. What is yours?
