Bejeweled Blitz On Facebook
25 April, 2009 – 12:08 amI was looking for a new game to play on Facebook after getting bored with Pet Society and Restaurant City, even though Playfish just added new stuff to Restaurant City in the recent upgrade, the cutest are the commodes and the new job of cleaner, which I promptly assigned it to a “friend”. Hahah!
I installed other Playfish games like “Who Has The Biggest Brains” and “Bowling Buddies” but they are all not that interesting to play. I don’t even know how to bowl in “Bowling Buddies”. I didn’t try out “Mini Golf” yet. Basically, I don’t even like golf in real life.
So anyway, saw a friend playing Popcap’s Bejeweled Blitz. I used to play Bejeweled 2 a lot on the website of PopCap. It’s a free game, by the way. I decided to give this a try on Facebook because it has been a long time since I played Bejeweled.
On Facebook, there is only one type of free game. It’s the “1 minute” game, where we have to collect as many gems as possible within the time frame of a minute. I played a few rounds and it looked pretty impossible to hit as high as 100,000 points like a couple of my friends did.
So I dropped my friend a message, asking if he played the 1 minute game as well and how come he managed to hit that high a score. Whoa, after playing a few rounds, I topped the leader board myself with a scoreof 143,000, surprisingly. What do you know, just after I said that it was “impossible”. My friend was shocked as well! Now, I am bored with Bejeweled Blitz already.
