April Fool’s Day
31 March, 2009 – 1:28 pmTomorrow is April Fool’s Day already. Boy, it only seems like yesterday when we turned 2009 and now we are three months down and nine more months to go before a New Year comes around.
When I was a kid, April Fools’s Day was a day to look forward to as my friends and I would play practical jokes on each other. While we found it funny, the victims were always sore. That was such a long time ago that I can’t recall my best April Fool’s joke.
Now that I am older, April Fool’s Day is just like any other day for me. I stopped playing jokes on others. Actually, I stopped since I left school.
Now, on April Fool’s Day, all I do is watch out on bogus news and hope not to get caught by what I read in the papers or online.
