Addicted To The Gem of Life
3 December, 2008 – 2:31 amWhile waiting for TVB Drama The Gem of Life episode 31 to be available since last night, I realize that I could no longer deny that I am addicted to it. Yes, I admit it after thirty episodes!
Strangely, the plot isn’t all that captivating but I guess the glitz got to me, or ma beit’s the chemistry between certain couples. My favourite couple, I must say, is Constance and Terrence. Perhaps they seem the most natural. Or should I say, POSSIBLE?
Right now, I am still awaiting The Gem of Life’s latest episode, though I understand that only three episodes will air this week but this information could be wrong.
In any case, while waiting, I went surfing the internet and came across these visual sneak previews of The Gem of Life. Some of them are certainly eye opening.
While I already know that there would be three couples and in the montage of scenes that we get to watch at the beginning of every episode while the opening theme by Shirley Kwan is played, we get to see that Sylvia would be with Calvin, Constance would be with Terrence and Jessica would be with Martin, these screenshots have some surprises.
It looks like Martin would die at some point and I think Jessica would be blaming it on the son, Terrence.
And then Will would not end up with Elise, as I had thought, but with the older woman, Melissa. And Melissa would be in a wheelchair.
And while it never crossed my mind that Sunny is gay until his confession, the screenshot here shows him kissing Joey. So is he gay or not?
And why do Sunny and Sylvia look like they are marrying? Are they or are they not? I thought that Sylvia ended up with Calvin??? Urghhh so many questions. I guess I would have to wait for each episode to be released until episode 82.
82! That’s freaking long, man! But I tell you, it’s quite fun to look forward to a new episode everyday, except the weekend.
