About

I was tagged on Facebook in “25 Random Things” and thought I would copy it over here.

1. My idea of an ideal life is to travel around the world and live out of a backpack without worrying about money.

2. I always have the urge to go somewhere where no one knows me at all; to hide.

3. I have hang ups about stuffs that close friends will know about so I shall not disclose here.

4. I’m not fussy about food at all. I can eat the same food over and over, if I do not have a choice, and would not mind one bit. However, I don’t take beef and try to avoid sesame seeds. I also pick out chili seeds from my food. I still have my appendix!

5. I spent half my lifetime searching for the “best” skincare products to no avail. If you have perfect complexion, please go play far far.

6. I run seven blogs actively and a host of passion blogs.

7. I watch a lot of Korean dramas and movies even though they make me cry. Like food, I can watch them over and over again.

8. I used to read a lot…. and then I discovered the internet. My favourite kinds of books are autobiographies and biographies. I can read and reread the same good books without feeling bored too.

9. I failed Additional Math in my SPM. :o (

10. I used to spend the whole day chatting in online message boards and chat rooms. Thinking back, it was a sheer waste of time but I made a handful of good friends so it was worth it!

11. I was a school bully in primary school. I later read that bullies bully because they seek attention. Maybe I was.

12. I would like to set up a dog shelter but that would mean that I would not be able to travel as and when I like, out of a backpack. (#2).

13. I spent 13 years taking care of my epileptic dog until he died on 6th June, 2008.

14. I used to wonder if I prefer my boyfriend/husband to be rich or handsome. Then I met a rich single guy and did nothing to hook him. Now I know the answer. Hahaha!

15. I have to support my family and I think a good husband should help shoulder this responsibility, at least partially. This is why I am still single! :o )

16. I don’t know how to swim, speak Chinese or wear make up. I think I have even forgotten how to ride the bicycle or drive a car.

17. I like to have music playing at all times. Rock music absolutely pumps me up. I can loop the same songs over and over again.

18. When I ask you something, please don’t tell me to check it up on the internet or read the manual. I asked because I want the answer pronto. If I need help with anything, go out of your way to do it. I’ll always remember it and reciprocate.

19. I don’t have many friends, and even though I see a lot of old school mates on Facebook, I did not contact them. I am no good at keeping the flame of friendship alive.

20. I don’t go clubbing (no clubs, pubs, karaokes) and the only time that I went into a club was for Tommy Page’s meet-the-fan session in the club in Casuarina Hotel, Ipoh in 1990! Talking about Tommy Page, my sister and I travelled to KOMTAR, Penang to meet him. Me, a groupie!

21. I usually take an afternoon nap. It could be as short as just ten minutes or as long as an hour. My sleep pattern is really screwed. I was so, so tired at one point that I could sleep standing, which really happened but luckily I was just in the compound leaning against the car. The scary thing was that this happened a few times!

22. The last thing I touch before I fall asleep (in bed) is my phone/iPhone. I usually just knock off whilst setting the alarm, halfway logging into a website or midway replying to a text message. Yes, I am THAT tired.

23. I have a pen-pal whom I have corresponded with since 1991. We have seen each other through lots of good and bad times, but only through letters!

24. I used to be a collector. I still have collections of stamps, coins, phone cards, post cards, QSL cards, t-shirts, notepads, newspaper clippings, etc.

25. I love the radio and used to call in to radio stations to participate in contests. I was a shortwave radio junkie and was a monitor with Radio Taipei International and Radio DW for many years. Wanted to be a radio DJ but that didn’t happen.

Please do leave a comment or drop a line to say “Hello”. Hope you enjoy reading my thoughts, ramblings and whatever that comes to mind.

Have a NICE day!
